UPDATES/UPGRADES FOR REGISTERED USERS COST ONLY $8.95. Registered users may purchase any subsequent upgrades or new releases, including the (electronic) strategy manual, for only $8.95, instead of the regular price of $29.95 for the "full package" that includes the strategy manual included). On and after December 1, 2007, the software-only $7.00 upgrade for (without manual) has been discontinued. However, the price for registered users to upgrade to the "Full Package," including the (electronic) strategy manual, did not increase on December 1, and remains at $8.95, the same as it has been for several years. You can check out our Updates page just by clicking on "Updates" on your copy of W$R, on the "Game Options" menu, to see what, if any improvements have been added to W$R subsequent to the version you are currently playing. All $8.95 upgrades for registered owners of W$R include the "Customizer" utility program, and also include the latest updated version of the Wall Street Raider strategy manual, "Wall Street Raider -- The Book," a separate product that is usually sold separately, for $15.00, or that is sold as part of a $29.95 "Full Package" deal (see below) that includes the software, the strategy manual (electronic) book, and the "Customizer" utility program. NOTE REGARDING REAL COMPANY NAMES: The shareware version of W$R you may have been playing up till now does not utilize real company names, unlike the registered version. Also, it limits games to a maximum length of 2 years, unlike the registered version, which permits you to play games of up to 35 years' length. In addition, the shareware versions of W$R do not allow you to do option trading or sell stocks short. ORDER HERE. The registered Windows version of Wall Street Raider costs $19.95 U.S. for the full program, plus the "Customizer" utility program, or $29.95 for the full program plus the new electronic book (HTML files), "Wall Street Raider -- The Book," (a strategy manual and detailed guide to W$R), plus the "Customizer" utility program, which allows you to customize the companies in the W$R database for your country or region.
