DOWNLOAD PAGE -- WALL STREET RAIDER
FULL-SCREEN VERSION (6.0)

Click here to download and test the new full-screen SHAREWARE version 6.0 of Wall Street Raider, with "streaming stock quotes," and many other handy new features. To see how the new version looks, before downloading it, click here to see a (shrunken) image. (Note: Options trading, short-selling, and stock charts are not enabled in the shareware version.)

As we have noted elsewhere, before linking you to this page, the new version will not "fit" on your screen fully, unless you have your screen resolution set to at least 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. The main W$R screen will not be fully visible if your screen resolution is set at 800 x 600, which some people prefer on older monitors, and it may not be fully visible (on most older monitors or operating systems before XP) if you have the Windows "Large Fonts" setting in place, rather than "Normal Fonts" setting.

If, after trying out the shareware version you downloaded above, it does not fit on your screen, and you do not know how to change the screen resolution or the font size setting, here are the instructions on how to do so:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING WINDOWS
SCREEN RESOLUTION AND/OR FONT SIZE SETTING:

To view the entire W$R main screen, you need to change the Windows screen resolution setting to 1024 x 768 (and, possibly, also change the font size setting to "Normal Fonts") which can be done in a few seconds, as follows:

  • Step 1. Right-click on your Windows Desktop.
  • Step 2. Then click on "Properties."
  • Step 3. Select the "Settings" tab by clicking on it.
  • Step 4. Then move the "Screen Resolution" slider bar to the 1024 x 768 setting, and then click on either the "Apply" or "OK" button. (Step 5, changing the Font Size, may not be necessary, if you can see the entire Wall Street Raider screen, after choosing the 1024 x 768 pixels setting.)
  • Step 5. Windows 98 Systems: If you have your Windows 98 system configured for "Large Fonts," click on the "Settings" tab again (as in Steps 3 above), and click on the "Advanced" button. Then select "Normal Fonts" on the dialog screen that pops up, and click on "OK" to confirm the change.
  • Step 5: Windows XP or Later Systems: If you have your Windows (XP, Vista, or Windows 7) system configured for "Large Fonts," follow Steps 1 and 2 above again, but then, instead of clicking on the "Settings" tab in Step 3, click on the "Appearance" tab instead, and select "Normal Fonts" from the dialog screen that pops up. Then click on "OK" to confirm the change. (However, you may not need to change to "Normal Fonts" on some new computers, so long as the screen resolution is set at 1024 x 768 pixels.)
